Apparel & Uniforms

Whatever your people wear to work.

Uniforms, workwear, staff shirts, hats and team kit. Specified for the job, decorated so it lasts, and easy to reorder next year.

What you need01

Start with the job, not the machine.

Nobody walks in asking for direct to garment printing. They ask for shirts for the crew, aprons for the dining room, jerseys with names on them. So that is how this page is laid out.

01

Business Apparel

What your people wear in front of customers.

Polos, button downs, tees, hoodies, quarter zips and jackets. We set it up once so the fifth person you hire matches the first, and reordering later is a phone call rather than a project.

  • Polos and button downs
  • Tees and long sleeves
  • Hoodies and quarter zips
  • Jackets and outerwear
  • Hats and beanies
02

Workwear & Uniforms

For crews that get dirty and still need to look like a company.

Shop and technician shirts, durable work pants, insulated and softshell outerwear, and high visibility gear when the job calls for it. Embroidery is usually the right answer here because it survives commercial laundering.

  • Technician and shop shirts
  • Durable workwear
  • High visibility apparel
  • Insulated and softshell outerwear
  • Names and titles added per person
03

Restaurants & Hospitality

Front of house, back of house, and the merch by the register.

Staff tees and polos, bar and server aprons, caps and beanies, plus pieces good enough that customers will actually buy one. The same place that builds your website can dress the room.

  • Staff tees and polos
  • Bib and waist aprons
  • Caps and beanies
  • Retail merch for the counter
04

Teams & Organizations

Jerseys, names, numbers, and spirit wear for everyone watching.

Team uniforms and custom jerseys with names and numbers applied per player. Warmups and practice gear, coach and parent apparel, and spirit wear for schools, leagues and clubs.

  • Team uniforms and jerseys
  • Names and numbers
  • Warmups and practice gear
  • Spirit wear and fan apparel
  • Embroidered patches

Not on the list? Ask anyway. We can get to nearly anything you have seen on a rack, from a $6 tee to a lined softshell, plus team uniforms and jerseys. If something genuinely is not possible we will tell you straight away.

Pens, drinkware, bags and giveaways are a service of their own.

How it's decorated02

Six ways to do it. One right answer per job.

You do not need to pick. Here is what each one is good at, so you can see that we know.

01Embroidery

Embroidery

The finish that makes a shirt read as a uniform instead of a t-shirt.

Your logo stitched into the garment with thread rather than printed on top. It is the most durable option we offer. It holds its shape, survives commercial laundering and looks deliberate on a polo, a work shirt or a jacket. Applique handles larger designs, and we do fully embroidered patches too.

  • Uniforms and workwear
  • Polos and button downs
  • Jackets
  • Patches

023D Puff Embroidery

3D Puff Embroidery

Raised stitching that lifts a logo off the fabric.

Thread stitched over a foam base so the design stands proud of the garment. It reads from across a room and feels substantial in the hand, which is why it has become the standard for hats and for merch you intend to sell.

  • Hats and beanies
  • Retail quality merch
  • Bold single color logos
Thread color study. One continuous stitch run, color shifting through it.
03Coloreel Embroidery

Coloreel Embroidery

Thread colored as it stitches, for gradients normal embroidery cannot do.

A newer process that dyes the thread on its way to the needle, so a single continuous stitch can shift color. If your logo has a fade or a blend that a fixed set of thread cones has never quite matched, this is how we get it right.

  • Gradients and multi tone artwork
  • Standout retail pieces
  • Logos that fight a fixed thread palette

04Screen Printing

Screen Printing

The cheapest way per shirt once you need a lot of shirts.

A screen is made for each color and ink is pressed through it into the fabric. Colors come out bright and accurate and the print survives the wash. There is setup cost per color, so the price per shirt drops sharply as the order grows. Good for events, teams and staff runs.

  • Larger quantities
  • Event and team shirts
  • Bold flat color artwork

05Direct to Garment

Direct to Garment

Full color detail with no minimum to worry about.

Printed straight into the fabric by a digital printer, so a photograph costs the same as a simple mark and there is no per color setup. This is what we use for small batches, one offs, samples before a big order, and anything with fine detail.

  • Short runs and one offs
  • Photo quality artwork
  • Samples before a big order

06Transfers & Vinyl

Transfers & Vinyl

Sharp graphics on awkward fabrics, plus names and numbers.

Designs printed to film and heat applied, which gives clean edges and dense color on materials that are difficult to print or stitch, like performance fabric, nylon and safety wear. Cut vinyl handles individual names and numbers, and it keeps small orders affordable because there are no screens to set up.

  • Performance and safety fabrics
  • Team names and numbers
  • Small multi color runs
How ordering works03

Tell us the job. We handle the rest.

You do not have to know what a stitch count is, or whether your order is big enough for screens. Send us your logo, roughly how many you need and what you want them for. We come back with the garment, the method and a price, and you approve a proof before anything runs.

  1. 01You tell us the job, the rough quantity and when you need it
  2. 02We spec the garment and the right way to decorate it
  3. 03You approve artwork and a proof before anything runs
  4. 04We handle the reorder next time, and the problem if there is one

Same company, same standard

The shirts look great. Does the website?

Most of our apparel customers are running a site they would rather not hand out. We build those too, starting at $995.

Tell us about the job.

You do not need sizes, artwork or a decision about how it gets printed. Roughly what, roughly how many, and when.

What are you after? Pick as many as you need.
Do you have a logo?

Whatever you have is fine. We will ask you to send the file once we reply.

Or call (586) 355-3555 and describe the job.

What moves the price
How many
The single biggest factor. Price per piece drops as the run grows, and the drop is steep early on.
The garment
A basic tee and a lined softshell are the same job to us and a very different number to you.
How many spots
One logo on the left chest costs less than a front, a back and a sleeve.
When you need it
Normal timing is built into the price. A hard deadline sometimes changes the method we use.

There is no universal minimum. A dozen polos is a normal order and so is five hundred shirts.
