WebsitesFrom $995

You tell us about the business. We hand you a finished website.

For restaurants and bars, contractors, shops and offices around Metro Detroit. No builder to learn, no layouts to pick, no settings to work out. You answer some questions and we do the rest.

What you get01

A website that does the job.

Nobody has ever wanted a website for its own sake. They want to stop losing work to the business down the road with a nicer one.

  • Looks like a company somebody would trust with a real job
  • Works properly on a phone, which is where nearly everyone will see it
  • One tap to call you, one tap for directions
  • Service lists and menus people can actually read
  • Loads fast enough that nobody gives up
  • Hours, prices and specials that are right
  • Shows up when someone searches your trade and your town
  • Somebody local to call when it needs changing
What it costs02

Three sizes. Pick the one that fits.

Fixed prices, not estimates. What moves you up a size is how much you have to say, not how much we think you can pay.

One page, done properly.

A business with a logo, a phone number and one main thing it sells. If you have nothing right now, a Facebook page, or a builder site you were never happy with, this is the one.

  • One page with up to six sections
  • Your logo and colors, designed around your business
  • Built for phones first, checked on every size
  • Contact form, hours, map and tap to call
  • Gallery or menu section where it makes sense
  • Local search setup, analytics and Search Console
  • We tidy up the words you send us
  • Domain connected and launched for you

Timing
Usually live in two to three weeks

The one most established businesses should buy.

You have three or more services, or a real menu, and enough to say that one page starts to feel cramped. Most restaurants, contractors, shops and offices land here.

  • Up to five pages, with a homepage designed for your brand
  • Everything in Launch
  • Two forms, so quotes and general inquiries stay separate
  • Gallery page and location details
  • You send us your notes, we write the finished pages
  • Tracking on calls, directions and form submissions
  • Structured data so Google reads your hours and menu properly
  • One embedded booking or reservation widget where your provider offers one

Growth

From $4,950

Revisions
Three rounds of changes
Timing
Usually three to five weeks

For more services, or more than one location.

Several services that each deserve their own page, two or more locations, or a site that needs to bring in leads rather than just look right.

  • Up to ten pages, including service and location pages
  • Everything in Business
  • Page templates built for your service or location structure
  • Advanced forms with routing and file uploads
  • Up to three third party tools connected
  • We interview you and write the copy from that conversation
  • Site structure and internal linking planned properly

Anything bigger or unusual, we quote it after we have looked at it properly.

Restaurants & bars03

The menu is the website.

Somebody is standing outside deciding where to eat. One hand free, about eight seconds of patience. If your menu is a PDF they have to pinch and drag, you lost that table to the place down the street.

We build the version that works. Your menu lives as real text, so changing a price is a five minute job rather than a careful edit that might break the page. That is also why we can keep it current for you cheaply.

A menu that reads on a phone
Real text, not a PDF nobody can pinch open.
Hours that are right
Including the holiday ones you forget to change.
Location and directions
One tap and their maps app opens.
Tap to call
The single most used button on a restaurant site.
Online ordering
Straight through to whoever you already use.
Reservations
Your existing booking link, or your phone number.
Food and drink photos
Laid out so the plate does the selling.
Specials and events
Kept current for you if you are on Care.

Where a restaurant usually lands

One location, one menu, ordering and booking by link: Launch at $995 covers it. Several menus, an events section, a reservation widget on the page: that is Business at $2,495, and it is where most full service restaurants end up. More than one location is Growth.

Front of house needs shirts, hats and aprons too. We do those.

What we need from you04

Four things, and none of them is writing.

The usual reason a website takes six months is that somebody was asked to write it and never got to it. We do not do that to people.

Your logo
Whatever file you have. If all you own is a fuzzy JPEG we can clean it up.
The facts
Services, hours, address, phone, prices if you want them shown. Notes are fine. You do not need to write anything.
Photos, if you have them
Yours are better than stock when they are good. If they are not, we will say so and sort out something better.
One person to approve it
Projects stall when three people have opinions and nobody decides. Pick who signs off.
How it goes05

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. 01

    We talk

Fifteen minutes on what you do, who you want calling, and what is wrong with what you have now.

  2. 02

You send us what you have

Logo, photos, menu, hours, services. Rough notes are fine. We do the writing.

  3. 03

    We build it

You see the real site on a private link, not a slideshow. You send one list of changes and we make them.

  4. 04

    We launch it

We connect your domain, check everything works and hand you a written summary of what you own.

Keeping it going06

Someone has to keep it online.

Pick a plan or take it somewhere else. Both are fine and neither is a contract. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Hosting

$49

per month

We keep the technical side running. You look after the content.

  • Fast, secure hosting
  • SSL certificate, kept current
  • We get alerted automatically if your site goes down
  • Software and security updates
  • Version history and one click rollback
  • Anything technical is ours to sort out

Content changes are not included on this plan.

Care

$99

per month

Everything in Hosting, and you send us the changes.

  • Everything in Hosting
  • Two change requests a month
  • Text, photos, prices, hours, menus, specials
  • Hours and details on your Google listing
  • Next business day response
  • Routine changes usually live within two business days

A change request is one message with everything you want changed. We do the lot as one update.

Larger sites

Quoted

Projects that need more than a marketing site behind them.

  • Online stores
  • Customer accounts and logins
  • Large photo archives
  • Features with a database behind them
  • Bigger integrations, storage or traffic

Priced on what the project actually needs to run.

More than two requests in a month, or anything bigger than a routine change, gets a fixed quote before we start it. Nothing turns up on an invoice as a surprise. Hourly work, when that is the sensible way to handle something, is $125 an hour, or $100 an hour if you are on Care.

Ownership07

It's your website.

  • Your domain is registered in your name, on your account, from the first day.
  • The finished site is yours once it is paid for.
  • Your analytics and your Google listing stay in your Google account.
  • If you ever want to move on, we hand everything over and help you do it. No exit fee.
Questions we get08
I already use Toast, DoorDash or OpenTable. Does that still work?
Yes, and we would not try to replace them. Your ordering and booking stay where they are. We put the buttons where people expect them and send them straight through.
Do I own it?
Yes. Your domain goes in your name on your account from the first day, the finished site is yours once it is paid for, and your Google listing stays in your Google account. If you ever leave, we hand it all over and help you move. No exit fee.
What if I do not have any good photos?
We will tell you honestly. We can use licensed photography for atmosphere, and for anything with your logo on it we can show you a proper product mockup. If the business really needs its own photos, we will help you arrange a shoot.
Can I change things myself later?
You can, but most owners would rather not. That is what Care is for. You send the change, we make it, usually within two business days.
How is this different from a website builder?
With a builder you are the designer. You choose the layout, the type, the photo sizes, the mobile behavior, and you set up the analytics and the search listing. Here you tell us about your business and we hand you a finished website. That is the whole difference, and at $995 it is the reason most people call us.
What if I need something that is not on the list?
Ask. If it is small we will usually just do it. If it is real work we will quote you a fixed price before we start, so nothing turns up on an invoice as a surprise.
Who this is for09

Businesses with a real front door.

  • Restaurants
  • Bars and taprooms
  • Collision shops
  • Auto and service
  • Contractors
  • Landscaping
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Retail
  • Professional services

A lot of these businesses already know us, because we made their shirts. That is how we ended up building websites. They kept asking who could do theirs and we were tired of not having a good answer.
